The "Seer" from Westside Golf Discs positions itself as a versatile fairway driver for beginners and players with moderate arm speed. As an understable 7-speed disc with pronounced glide, it covers the spectrum between controlled straight throws and intentional turnover lines. The VIP and Tournament plastics dominate its use, offering a reliable combination of grip and durability. With its flat profile and compact rim, the disc sits comfortably in the hand and enables clean releases without requiring excessive power. The flight characteristics prove noticeably more accessible than the manufacturer's flight numbers suggest: Instead of Speed 7 | Glide 5 | Turn -2 | Fade 1, the disc exhibits an even more pronounced turn in practice alongside a gentler fade. The "Seer" launches neutral to slightly turning right (RHBH) and holds this line consistently before finishing with minimal fade. At lower arm speeds, it flies nearly straight with reliable glide, while more powerful throws activate stronger turn, transitioning the disc into controlled anhyzer paths. Stability remains moderately understable even with clean releases, though off-axis torque amplifies noticeably. For beginners and intermediate players, the "Seer" becomes the ideal upgrade disc after initial putter throws: It forgives technical imperfections, delivers noticeable distance gains, and simultaneously trains understanding of anhyzer releases and turnover control. Advanced throwers utilize it strategically for tunnel shots, long anhyzer lines, or throws with limited fade finish. Backhand benefits from its natural rightward curve, while forehand enables precise hyzer flips. At distances up to 90 meters, the disc combines control with distance—without requiring maximum arm speed.
