Overstable

The "Turbulence" by Streamline Discs operates as an overstable fairway driver with a speed of 7, bridging the gap between classic fairways and faster distance drivers. Its low glide of 2 combined with a fade of 3.5 creates a controlled, powerful flight without excessive hang time. This characteristic makes it a reliable choice for precise fairway throws in windy conditions and for utility shots where controllable distance matters more than maximum range. The Neutron SL variant excels in practice, offering a grippy feel suitable for both backhand and forehand throws. In flight, the "Turbulence" demonstrates consistent overstability without extreme beefiness. A turn of 0 means virtually no right drift, even on powerful throws—the disc holds anhyzer angles only briefly before reliably fighting back. The fade kicks in moderately and predictably, not abruptly like more aggressive utility discs. This flight path places it between a standard fairway and a true overstable tool: stable enough for headwinds and forced lines, yet without the fade dominance of a Resistor. The low glide noticeably shortens flight time, making landing zones easier to predict. For intermediate players with clean releases, it serves as a precise fairway workhorse, reliably producing left finishes. Forehand throwers particularly appreciate its stability—the "Turbulence" allows powerful forehand throws without turnover risk and works well for forehand rollers. It reinforces hyzer lines as expected, while anhyzer attempts are quickly corrected. Thumbers and tomahawks also benefit from its overstability. Beginners, however, may find it challenging due to its strong fade and low glide—it rarely forgives technical flaws and rewards clean, powerful throws with repeatable flight paths.
