Totem
The "Totem" by Prodiscus is an overstable distance driver with a speed of 12, designed for the fast end of long-range discs. With this speed, it targets throws where maximum distance is achieved through power and technique. Its use ranges from long fairway drives to situations requiring control in wind or overhead shots. As an overstable disc, it provides reliability for powerful throws and challenging conditions. In flight, the "Totem" exhibits behavior shaped by its speed 12 and glide 5: the disc requires sufficient arm speed to unlock its full potential but rewards with solid hang time. A turn of -1 gives a slight rightward tendency during the high-speed phase for backhand throws with enough power, while a fade of 3 ensures a strong left finish at the end of the flight. This combination of moderate turn and strong fade creates an S-curve on powerful throws, while weaker arms will experience a straighter to overstable flight path. For hyzer throws, the "Totem" delivers predictable lines with a stable left fade. Anhyzer lines can be executed with enough speed, though the fade reliably pulls the disc back. The stability profile also works for forehand throws—the disc resists early turnover and fades controllably to the right. In headwinds, the flight remains stable without uncontrolled lift. For throwers with high arm speed, the "Totem" serves as a versatile max-distance driver that maintains reliability even under pressure.
