Stability
Overstable

The "Sparta" by Prodiscus fills a unique niche in the putter category for players who value absolute neutral flight paths across different power levels. With a speed of 2 and glide of 4, it combines enough velocity for approach shots into mid-range distances while maintaining a reliable straight flight. The beadless design and rim depth echo classic putters like the Aviar or Luna, while the grippy Basic plastic adds its own distinct quality. It offers an accessible option for both beginners and experienced players, requiring no complicated adjustments. In flight, the "Sparta" demonstrates remarkably stable neutrality: it holds its release line consistently across various throwing strengths, resisting turn even with added power and avoiding early fade on gentle throws. The glide of 4 ensures a smooth flight phase, enabling precise landings on approach shots between 30 and 60 meters. The minimal fade of 1 engages late and subtly, keeping the disc predictable even on flat lines. Compared to the Innova Nova, it offers a similar "hold-any-line" capability but with a more traditional hand feel and slightly more end stability on soft throws. For putting situations and controlled upshots, the "Sparta" performs reliably on both backhand and forehand throws. Hyzer and anhyzer lines execute cleanly without unexpected turns or deviations. The Basic and Basic Hard plastics provide a tacky, trustworthy grip, while Ultrium offers added durability for players with higher arm speeds. Beginners benefit from its forgiveness and direct feedback, while advanced players appreciate its precision on technical approaches and versatility in the bag.
