The "Respecti" by Prodiscus fills the gap between a controllable fairway driver and a no-compromise utility tool. With a speed of 7 and glide of 2, it serves as a wind-stable option for precise fairway shots between 75 and 90 meters, where classic fairway drivers already show too much turn. The low glide makes it predictable in headwinds and tight corridors, while its overstable nature ensures reliable landings. In Ultrium and Premium plastic, it exhibits significantly more stability than the flight numbers suggest—these versions act as true meat hooks for trouble shots and overhand throws. In flight, the fade phase dominates. The minimal glide keeps the disc on a flat path, while the turn rating of 1 allows only slight right movement on powerful throws. The fade of 2 kicks in early and reliably, producing consistent hyzer finishes. The Premium and Ultrium versions fly noticeably more overstable than the manufacturer's ratings—comparable to a Firebird at moderate arm speed. Basic plastic offers a bit more glide and behaves closer to the stated numbers but remains firmly in the overstable range. These plastic variations allow for precise bagging strategies: Basic for standard fairway work, Premium and Ultrium for extreme conditions. On hyzer lines, the "Respecti" performs reliably without unexpected right movement—ideal for approach shots around 60 meters with guaranteed fade. Anhyzer throws flex back predictably. Forehand shots benefit from the high stability in technical shots through tight gaps. Advanced players value it as a specialized tool for wind, trouble shots, and forced hyzers, while players with moderate arm speed can use it as a straight, dependable fairway driver with a secure finish. For beginners, it proves challenging—the combination of low glide and early fade demands clean technique for usable distances.
