The "H4 V2" by Prodigy Disc is a versatile distance driver designed for controlled distance throws with understable flight characteristics. With a speed of 10, it delivers solid distance without requiring extreme arm speed. The comfortable rim, featuring a moderate depth, provides a secure grip and ensures clean releases. Particularly in the 400 and 500 plastics, it strikes a balance between durability and flexibility, supporting precise release angles. As the counterpart to the more overstable H3 V2, it covers the understable slot in a fairway setup and pairs well with utility drivers like the Firebird. In flight, the disc exhibits a controlled pop-up to flat from a hyzer angle, followed by moderate turn. Its glide rating of 5 to 6 noticeably extends the flight phase, enabling long S-curves when given enough space. With a fade of 1.5 to 2, it lands reliably without a harsh finish. The flight path remains predictable: on anhyzer, it develops smooth turnover lines, while hyzer releases produce a gentle flip to the right. Due to its moderate stability, it works well for forehand throws but responds precisely to release angle errors. The 400 Glow variant is slightly more flexible than standard plastics and behaves similarly to a Valkyrie. For players with moderate arm speed, the H4 V2 offers accessible distance without overstability issues. Intermediate throwers use it for extended fairway drives and hyzer flips through tight gaps. Advanced players appreciate its touchy nature for precise shaping and long S-shots. Beginners benefit from its forgiveness at moderate power but should focus on clean release angles. As an all-around distance driver that doesn’t demand overpowering, it covers everything from straight shots to controlled turnover lines.
