The Prodigy F3 is a speed 7 fairway driver that has established itself for controlled drives at medium distances. With a glide of 5, turn of -1, and fade of 2, it covers the spectrum between straight lines and reliable finishes. Available in 400, 750, and 500 plastic blends, it offers varying levels of grip and durability, with the 750 version particularly valued as a rugged workhorse option. Players with moderate arm speed use this disc as a versatile all-rounder, while advanced throwers leverage its overstable tendency for precise shot shaping. For beginners with lower arm speed, the F3 provides dependable stability without unpredictable flight phases. In flight, the F3 combines moderate high-speed turn with a strong late fade. When released flat, it exhibits a slight rightward movement before the fade pulls it back left. Its actual flight characteristics are more stable than the numbers suggest—the turn remains minimal on powerful throws, while the fade remains consistently strong. This combination ensures predictable landing zones even in shifting wind conditions. Compared to classic speed 7 fairways like the Teebird, the F3 feels slightly more overstable, making it ideal for headwinds and forceful throws. Hyzer releases amplify the fade, while anhyzer releases produce reliable S-curves that fade back. For forehand throws, the F3 delivers stable flight paths without risk of rolling, and backhand throws benefit from its control at moderate power. Intermediate players will find it a dependable fairway companion for distances around 90 meters, while advanced throwers use it strategically for technical shots and tunnel lines. Beginners with lower arm speed will experience it as forgiving and predictable, whereas experienced players appreciate its overstable reserve for precise placements.
