The "Vector" by MVP Disc Sports serves as an overstable midrange for controlled fairway approaches and precise mid-range shots. With a speed of 5 and glide of 4, it covers the classic midrange segment, while a turn of 0 and fade of 2 ensure reliable stability. The bead on the inner rim provides a defined grip contact during release. Available in Neutron, Proton, and Eclipse 1.0 plastics, the disc delivers consistent flight characteristics for different grip preferences. As a midrange for approach situations and shaped lines, it excels where moderate overstability without extreme fade movement is desired. In flight, the "Vector" strikes a balance between straight travel and controlled finish. The speed of 5 allows for clean releases without excessive arm speed, while the glide of 4 provides enough float for distances up to around 90 meters. A turn of 0 keeps the disc on its intended line without unwanted turnover on clean releases. The fade of 2 reliably kicks in at the end but remains moderate enough for predictable landings. Its stability sits in the range of a slightly overstable midrange standard—comparable to a Roc3, yet with its own flight character thanks to the bead and MVP's Gyro technology. When thrown on a hyzer angle, the fade intensifies for skip approaches or dogleg shots to the left. For forehand throws, the "Vector" offers stable performance without flip risk, making it a solid choice for sidearm approaches. On backhand, it works equally well for straight lines with a dependable finish or slight hyzer lines. Intermediate players appreciate its predictability on approach shots and moderate overstability, which remains controllable even with less power. Advanced players use it strategically for shaped fairway lines and precise approaches where a gentle hook at the end is desired. Beginners with basic throwing technique will also find the "Vector" an accessible option for controlled midrange throws without extreme fade movement.
