The **Astra** by Millennium Golf Discs operates as a Distance Driver with Speed 11, balancing controlled stability and usable flexibility. With Glide 5, it maintains enough height for longer distances, while its Turn -1 and Fade 2 create moderate overstability that adjusts further during the break-in period. Fresh out of the box, it resists turnovers more than the flight numbers suggest—behavior that brings it closer to classic overstable drivers like the Innova Archon. As it wears in, it develops a straighter flight with controllable fade at the end. Especially in Quantum and standard plastic, it offers solid durability for rocky courses while maintaining grippy characteristics. In flight, the **Astra** exhibits a two-phase behavior: The initial phase requires clean release angles, as it drifts minimally to the right when thrown flat and transitions quickly into fade. With a proper hyzer release, it follows an extended S-curve, becoming reproducible with advanced technique. On anhyzer lines, it unlocks its potential for longer throws—holding the intended line longer than many comparable Speed 11 drivers and gliding controllably back to center before the moderate fade kicks in. The high glide component noticeably extends flight time but demands precise power control. For backhand throws, it suits intermediate-level players when throw speed consistently exceeds 60 km/h—then it delivers repeatable distance gains between 90 and 110 meters. Forehand use works only with reduced power or intentional anhyzer, as it tends to tip over too early otherwise. Beginners with inconsistent technique may experience varying flight patterns; the **Astra** rewards precision far more than raw power. Intermediate players appreciate it as a reliable fairway driver for open courses with predictable fade.
