Overstable

The "Mojave" by Meridian Discs serves as an overstable putter for precise approaches and reliable putts in windy conditions. With a speed of 3, it covers the classic putting range while also being suitable for controlled approach shots up to medium distances. The combination of moderate glide and noticeable fade makes it a solid choice for players who prioritize predictable finishes and refuse to compromise on stability, even in crosswinds. In flight, the Mojave reliably holds its line straight before the fade of 2 kicks in at the end of the trajectory, pulling the disc controllably to the left. A glide rating of 4 provides enough float without letting the disc drift uncontrollably. With a turn of 0, it resists rightward drift even on powerful throws, enabling precise lines. This flight characteristic resembles established overstable putters like the Innova Rhyno or Westside Harp but remains slightly more manageable in handling. On hyzer lines, the Mojave enhances the natural fade, landing reliably left of the target line. Flat throws finish with predictable fade, while slight anhyzer angles are corrected, ensuring a stable landing. For forehand approaches, its overstability offers excellent control, and backhand players benefit from its resistance to unwanted turnovers. Recommended as an entry-level disc, the Mojave allows beginners to develop clean throwing techniques without disc errors distorting the line. Advanced players use it strategically for utility shots and secure putts under challenging conditions.
