The "Trinity" by Lone Star Disc serves as a controlled fairway driver for precise throws up to around 90 meters. With a speed of 7 and pronounced glide of 5.5, it bridges the gap between technical mid-range discs and faster distance drivers. This disc truly shines on tight fairways—it maintains clean lines without uncontrolled drifting and delivers a reliable fade at the end of each throw. The combination of moderate speed and high glide allows for solid distance while maintaining precise flight control. For intermediate players, the "Trinity" offers a straightforward introduction to overstable fairway drivers without demanding excessive arm speed. In flight, the "Trinity" behaves predictably stable. A turn rating of 0 means practically no rightward movement for RHBH throws—the disc follows the intended line without flipping. The fade of 2 reliably kicks in at the end of the flight, bringing the disc back under control. Hyzer lines hold smoothly, while anhyzer throws are reeled back in by the moderate fade. The high glide noticeably extends flight time, ensuring distance even with moderate arm speeds. In Alpha plastic, the disc exhibits firmer stability with a more direct fade, while Bravo versions respond with slightly more flexibility. Hyzer throws maintain their curve all the way to landing. Turnover shots can be confidently planned thanks to the dependable fade—the disc turns back controllably rather than flipping over. The "Trinity" works well for forehand throws due to its stability, while backhand players benefit from its line-holding ability on straight drives. Intermediate players will find it a reliable workhorse for technical fairways and mid-range approach shots. Advanced throwers also use it for controlled lines under 100 meters where precision matters more than maximum distance.
