The Lone Star Disc "Enterprise" combines distance and controlled stability as a Speed 12 distance driver. Its blend of high speed and pronounced glide makes it ideal for long throws, where the disc reliably fades back despite initial turnover tendencies. Compared to purely overstable bombers, it offers more line-shaping versatility and adapts well to various release angles on lengthy fairways. In flight, the Enterprise exhibits a two-phase behavior. With a turn of -2, it delivers a gentle rightward movement during acceleration for backhand throws, while its glide rating of 6 ensures extended airtime. A fade of 2 reliably engages in the final flight phase, bringing the disc back under control to the left. This balance between turn and fade allows for predictable S-curves without unwanted drifting or early dumping. For hyzer flips, the Enterprise delivers precise results: released on a slight hyzer angle, it flips up, flies straight to slightly right, and fades back reliably thanks to its moderate fade. On anhyzer releases, it executes sweeping turnover lines with enough late stability to prevent excessive turning. Forehand throws benefit from its overstable foundation, maintaining control even in headwinds. With a skill level of 0, this disc appeals to beginners and experienced players alike, offering a versatile distance driver for diverse course demands.
