Aftermath
The "Aftermath" by Legacy Discs is a fast Distance Driver with Speed 13, operating at the edge between controlled distance and high velocity. With its wide rim and flat profile, it targets throwers with sufficient arm speed who seek long flights with predictable S-curves. The Icon plastic provides a Star-like grip and durability, while the Pinnacle variant offers added firmness. Unlike many Speed 13 discs, its overstability is more moderate—the Aftermath can be thrown despite its thick rim without immediately pulling left. In flight, it displays neutral stability with a slight turn of -2, creating a controlled S-curve when thrown with power. The disc initially turns right, stabilizes mid-flight, and finishes with a reliable fade of 3. This flight pattern resembles a Discraft Crank but operates at higher speed. The glide of 5 noticeably boosts distance performance, especially in light tailwinds or on anhyzer releases. Compared to a Metal Flake Tern, the Aftermath feels faster and more stable without tipping into excessive overstability. For intermediate players with refined technique, the Aftermath unlocks true distance throws—many report personal bests. The disc performs well on flat tunnel lines as well as slight anhyzers for maximum distance. Advanced players appreciate its predictability despite the high speed. Beginners may find it challenging, as Speed 13 demands proper arm speed. But for those with the necessary power, the Aftermath serves as a versatile bomber for various distance scenarios.
