Pain
The "Pain" by Latitude 64 serves as an overstable midrange for controlled throws up to 60 meters when precise landings without unwanted turnover are required. With a speed of 4 and fade of 3, it’s designed for situations where reliable lines matter more than maximum distance. The beadless design ensures clean releases for both backhand and forehand throws, while the disc maintains its stability even on powerful throws. In Opto plastic, it delivers particularly consistent performance across different weight classes. In flight, the "Pain" holds steady lines without unwanted turn, even on hard releases. The speed of 4 provides controllable velocity, while the glide of 4 offers enough carry for approach distances. A turn of 0 means minimal susceptibility to turnover, even in headwinds—though some throwers may notice a slight tendency toward -1 turn in Opto plastic. The fade of 3 reliably kicks in at the end of the flight, bringing the disc predictably to the left. This combination makes it comparable to classic Roc flights in premium plastic, but with even more predictable behavior across different release angles. For hyzer throws, the "Pain" delivers predictable curves with a dependable finish, while flat releases produce stable straight lines without drift. Anhyzer lines are possible but always return under control. The disc works well for backhand approaches as well as occasional forehand shots when precision under 50 meters is crucial. Intermediate players appreciate its reliability on powerful throws, while it remains manageable for advanced beginners with basic throwing technique. As an alternative to more aggressive utility mids like the Hornet, it offers slightly more moderate overstability while maintaining strong wind resistance.
