The "Fuji" from Latitude 64 functions as an overstable midrange with a speed of 4, glide of 4, turn of 0, and fade of 2, designed for controlled straight flights. Its overmold design combines two plastics, resulting in a flat, low-profile shape that feels grippy and precise. This construction makes it ideal for technical fairway shots between 60 and 90 meters, where reliability against wind and moderate arm speeds matter more than maximum distance. The Opto-G and Gold Line versions offer slight variations in grip and stability, with Opto-G tending to feel a bit firmer. In flight, the "Fuji" displays a stable, straight path with a controlled fade at the end. A turn of 0 means it resists flipping, even on powerful throws, and holds its line. The glide of 4 ensures a smooth flight phase, providing enough float for precise approach shots without drifting unpredictably. The fade of 2 kicks in reliably, bringing the disc back left at the end of its flight—without a harsh finish. This combination makes it comparable to a slightly more overstable alternative to the "Buzzz," offering better resistance to wind and torque. On hyzer lines, the "Fuji" enhances its fade and lands predictably, while on flat releases, it holds straight before fading late. For forehand throws, the flat top ensures a clean release, and it remains stable in the hand for backhand shots as well. Intermediate players appreciate the "Fuji" as a reliable workhorse for technical gaps and approach play where control outweighs distance. Beginners with moderate throwing power can use it for straight lines, while advanced players leverage it for headwind resistance and precise fade shots.
