The Latitude 64 "Core" serves as a versatile fairway driver with a speed of 6, positioning itself between classic midranges and faster fairway discs. With a glide of 5, it stays airborne for extended periods, making it ideal for controlled approaches and straight fairway shots. Its flat profile fits comfortably in the hand, ensuring precise releases. Available in Opto and Gold Line plastics, it’s durable enough for regular use, while the Gold Line Burst variant offers extra grip. Bridging the gap between more stable discs like the EMac Truth and understable models like the Warrant, it fills a practical slot in any bag. In flight, the Core exhibits a slightly understable to neutral behavior with a turn of -0.5 and fade of 1. When thrown flat, it drifts gently to the right but maintains control without flipping over unpredictably. The moderate fade at the end ensures reliable landings without a harsh hook. This flight pattern resembles a lightly seasoned Buzzz, making it suitable for straight lines with minimal lateral movement. The combination of high glide and low fade extends flight time without abrupt slowdowns. It remains stable on straight lines while reliably holding anhyzer curves. For hyzer flips, the Core responds well to moderate arm speed, flipping up cleanly before settling into a straight or slightly right-turning path. Turnover shots stay controllable throughout their flight without early over-rotation. On backhand, it’s a dependable point-and-shoot option for approaches between 60 and 90 meters, while forehand players will appreciate its flat profile and smooth flight. Beginners and intermediate players benefit from its forgiveness and predictability, but even advanced players value it for precise shaping and as a reliable turnover midrange.
