The "Charger" by Innova slots between the well-known Shryke and Destroyer models, making it ideal for players seeking a controllable distance driver with Speed 13. With its overstable characteristics, it bridges the gap between overly aggressive Destroyers and more maneuverable Katanas. Particularly in Star and GStar plastics, it proves to be a reliable all-rounder for distance throws in varying wind conditions. The disc performs consistently even in extreme headwinds or strong crosswinds without uncontrolled drifting. In flight, the "Charger" follows a trajectory closer to the Destroyer than the Shryke. Its turn of -1 allows for a gentle S-curve on powerful throws, while a fade of 2 ensures a dependable finish. With Speed 13 and Glide 5, it achieves solid distances without excessive effort. Stability varies by weight: discs under 168 grams tend to be slightly more understable with increased turn, while heavier versions (175g+) fly noticeably more stable. Fresh out of the box, it behaves like a seasoned Destroyer, offering immediate flight characteristics without a lengthy break-in period. For backhand throws, the "Charger" excels in the 350–400 foot range, delivering controlled distance with predictable fade. It works well on straight power lines as well as gentle anhyzer lines that develop into a controlled S-curve. Advanced throwers appreciate its balance of distance potential and manageability, while players with moderate arm speed find it accessible. Those already throwing Destroyers or Shrykes will see the "Charger" as a practical addition for windier conditions or situations demanding extra stability.
