Stability
Understable

The "Khonsu" by Infinite Discs fills the gap as an understable midrange for controlled turnovers and long, straight lines with minimal arm speed. With a speed of 5, it's ideal for approach shots in the 60 to 90-meter range where classic stable midranges would fade too early. The pronounced glide of 5 noticeably extends flight time, making the disc especially appealing for players who don’t rely on maximum power. The grippy I-Blend plastic and slightly domed shape ensure a secure grip, while the C-Blend Glow version offers a touch more stability and slightly reduced glide. In flight, the "Khonsu" exhibits a moderate turn of -3, which kicks in immediately with a flat release and gently carries the disc to the right. A fade of 0 means virtually no hook at the end—the disc lands where the turnover line finishes. With a hyzer release, it flips up late without overturning. Advanced players with higher arm speed will experience stronger initial turn, which can quickly turn into rollers with an anhyzer release. The actual stability is slightly higher than the manufacturer’s ratings, making the disc less flippy than expected and providing better control in variable winds. For beginners, the "Khonsu" offers easy access to straight flight paths without requiring excessive power—ideal for developing throwing mechanics before moving to more stable midranges. Intermediate players use it strategically for turnover shots through wooded fairways, anhyzer lines around obstacles, or as a utility disc in tailwinds. It performs reliably for forehand shots but requires controlled power to avoid excessive turn. As a shot-shaper for precise curve shots without aggressive fade, the "Khonsu" covers situations where stable midranges are too straight and putters too slow.
