Conquest
The "Conquest" by Guru Disc Golf is an understable midrange with a speed of 5, designed for controlled turnovers and sustained straight flights. Combining moderate glide with pronounced turn, it’s ideal for players looking for right-side lines (RHBH) or needing to navigate tight gaps under obstacles. The disc covers mid-range distances and serves as a versatile tool for technical layouts where classic overstable midranges would fade too early. In flight, the -2 turn is clearly evident: after acceleration, the disc gently drifts right and holds this line over long distances. The glide of 4 ensures it doesn’t lose altitude abruptly but instead maintains a smooth float. A moderate fade of 1 at the end brings it back slightly, allowing for long, flat S-curves or wide turnovers. With reduced power, the Conquest flies nearly straight without requiring major corrections. For turnovers at mid-range or flat anhyzer releases, the disc delivers reliable results. Backhand players can achieve sweeping right curves, while forehand throwers can use it for controlled hyzer flips that transition into gentle straight flights. Beginners benefit from its forgiveness at lower arm speeds, while advanced players leverage it for demanding lines requiring precise curve control. As the only understable midrange in the bag, the Conquest fills the gap for situations where overstability sacrifices distance.
