The "Interval" by Finish Line Discs fills the gap in the distance driver segment between controllable distance and reliable fade stability. With a speed of 12, it targets advanced throwers looking for a distance driver that performs like a seasoned Destroyer but without the initial overstability of new high-speed discs. In practice, the "Interval" proves to be a versatile workhorse for throws beyond 120 meters, offering controlled flight paths for both forehand and backhand shots. In flight, the disc combines moderate turn with dependable fade. After the acceleration phase, it develops a gentle drift to the right, extending the flight path without turning into an uncontrollable turnover. Its torque resistance remains high enough to keep powerful forehand throws stable. During the finish, a pronounced fade kicks in, reliably bringing the disc back and ensuring secure landings. With a glide rating of 5, it noticeably extends the flight phase, contributing to overall distance. The plastic types—Forged, Radiant, and Signature Radiant—offer varying levels of grip and flexibility, with the Radiant material particularly prized for its combination of grip and durability. On hyzer releases, the "Interval" produces wide S-curves with controlled correction, while flat releases maximize distance. It’s less suited for anhyzer throws, as the fade consistently brings it back. Forehand throwers benefit from its stability under high acceleration, while backhand players can use it for precise lines with predictable drift. The "Interval" is designed for advanced to professional throwers with arm speeds of around 95 km/h or higher, offering a reliable distance driver for various release angles.
