Understable

The "Beyond" by Eurodisc is an understable distance driver with a speed of 12, designed for maximum distance through controlled turnover flight. Its high glide rating of 6, combined with pronounced turn, makes it the ideal choice for throws where the disc needs to stay airborne longer and drift significantly to the right. With a skill recommendation of 0, this model is explicitly aimed at beginners looking to achieve distance without requiring high arm speed. In flight, the -4 turn immediately shows a strong rightward movement on backhand throws after release. The disc flips into an anhyzer early and maintains this line for most of its flight. The moderate fade of 1 at the end only slightly counteracts the rightward drift, allowing the disc to land flat rather than hooking back sharply. While the speed 12 theoretically demands power, the extreme understability compensates for lower arm speed—the "Beyond" reliably turns over even at moderate throwing speeds. For beginners, it works as a distance maximizer on straight lines, as the turn extends the flight path instead of letting the disc drop prematurely. More advanced players use it intentionally for long anhyzer lines or rollers, where the disc turns over and rides on its edge along the ground. In headwinds, the understability becomes more pronounced—making it better suited for tailwinds or calm conditions. Forehand throws produce mirrored hyzer-flip effects with long, straight flights.
