The "Dystopia" by Doomsday Discs functions as an understable distance driver with a speed of 10, excelling in both fairway and distance shots. Its combination of moderate turn and controlled fade makes it ideal for long throws with intentional right-turning flight paths as well as hyzer flips on straight lines. This disc bridges the gap between controlled fairway drives and maximum-distance attempts, proving especially effective on wooded courses and in technically demanding situations. In flight, it exhibits a noticeable -2 turn that activates at moderate arm speeds starting around 300 feet. The glide of 5 carries the disc far before the fade of 2 ensures a predictable finish. When thrown on hyzer, the "Dystopia" flips to flat and drifts right in a controlled manner without turning over excessively. Released flat or with slight anhyzer, it develops a smooth S-curve with extended rightward movement. Its flight resembles an Innova Sidewinder with slightly more speed, though the Survival plastic version remains more stable than the softer Ration variant. As it wears in, it becomes significantly more understable, making it suitable for turnover shots with minimal fade. For players with 300–350 feet of power, the "Dystopia" delivers reliable distance gains through controlled turn. Backhand throws benefit from its predictable rightward fade, while the wide rim provides skip potential on flat releases. Beginners developing arm speed will find it an accessible distance driver that forgives hyzer flips while unlocking extra distance. Advanced players use it strategically for shaping fairway lines and turnover shots in wooded areas. The Survival plastic offers the most stable version with a Star-like grip, while Ration discs break in faster to understable flight characteristics.
