Nightjar
The Nightjar by Disctroyer is an overstable distance driver with a speed of 10, ideal for controlled fairway drives and powerful distance throws. With this speed, it offers plenty of potential for distance without the extreme demands of faster bomber discs. Its overstable nature makes it a reliable tool for precise lines in windy conditions and for throws designed to fade left. In flight, the Nightjar demonstrates solid glide (5), extending its hang time, while its -0.5 turn ensures minimal rightward drift. This combination of moderate glide and low turn keeps the disc stable on its intended line before a strong fade (2.5) kicks in at the finish. The flight profile remains predictable even at higher arm speeds, resisting premature turnover. In headwinds, the Nightjar holds its line without drifting uncontrollably to the right. On hyzer lines, the natural fade intensifies, delivering reliable finishes left of the target. Flat releases keep the disc straight until the fade takes over, while slight anhyzer angles allow for controlled S-curves with a skip finish. For forehand throws, its stability provides the necessary resistance against unwanted turn. The Nightjar is best suited for players with medium to high arm speed who want a distance driver with predictable fade and wind resistance—without sacrificing glide.
