Stability
Overstable

The "Luna" by Discraft serves as a versatile putter, excelling both on the putting green and for approach shots. With its moderate stability and low-profile, beadless design, it’s ideal for precise mid-range approaches and controlled putting styles. The Special Blend and Big-Z plastics provide a stiff, grippy surface that maintains its shape even with frequent use and performs reliably in windy conditions. In flight, the "Luna" follows a straighter path than its flight numbers suggest. Its glide carries the disc noticeably farther than many classic putters, while turn and fade remain moderate—many throwers describe its flight characteristics as closer to 3/3/0/1. On a flat release, it holds its line reliably before finishing with a gentle left fade. This combination of straight flight and controlled finish makes the disc predictable: hyzer angles stay stable, and slight anhyzer releases won’t turn uncontrollably. Both backhand and forehand throws benefit from its smooth flight path, which remains consistent even at higher speeds. For approach shots up to around 70 meters, the "Luna" delivers precise landings, as its moderate fade prevents overshooting. As a throwing putter, it’s well-suited for straight tunnel shots and controlled approaches where glide and stability must work together. Beginners appreciate its forgiving flight and tolerance for varying release angles, while advanced players use it strategically for lines that require neither excessive fade nor turn. The low profile and rounded underside of the rim ensure a comfortable grip, whether putting or executing more powerful throws, keeping the disc secure in hand.
