Buzzz OS
The "Buzzz OS" from Discraft expands the Buzzz family with an overstable midrange for controlled throws in windy conditions and precise hyzer lines. With a speed of 5 and fade of 3, it's ideal for situations where the standard Buzzz lacks enough stability—such as headwinds, forceful forehands, or shots around obstacles. The flat profile and familiar feel make switching between Buzzz variants seamless, while the significantly higher overstability opens up new tactical options. In Z Line and ESP plastics, the model delivers consistent flight characteristics over many rounds. In flight, the disc maintains a straight initial phase before the strong fade kicks in, reliably pulling it left. A turn of 0 ensures no unwanted rightward movement, even at high throwing speeds. The glide of 4 provides enough airtime without sacrificing control. On hyzer lines, the overstability intensifies further—the disc follows the intended angle consistently until landing. When thrown flat, it shows a brief neutral phase before the dependable fade finishes the line. This makes it a longer alternative for utility approaches typically reserved for putters. For forehand throws, the "Buzzz OS" offers a stable platform with no risk of turning over—even with a powerful release, the line remains predictable. Backhand players use it for reliable hyzer approaches and controlled distance shots up to around 90 meters. Intermediate players appreciate its forgiveness with inconsistent throwing speeds, while advanced throwers can work with anhyzer releases to shape straight flight paths. If you already throw the classic Buzzz, this is the perfect complement for challenging conditions and technical lines.
